Hey! I'm Tash.

Natasha Huisman is a storytelling photographer.  Her style is emotional, colourful, personal and is inspired by a lifestyle and documentary approach. She is based out of Mount Hope and services the wider Hamilton and surrounding areas. She specializes in family, newborn and birth sessions.

I am a seer - a visual storyteller, a wife and a mama of two.  I have been behind a camera since I was a kid and have never imagined myself in any other role.  This is what I wanted to be and not a lot of people get to say that so I really feel blessed to be doing what I love!

I love the way children see the magic and joy in life and the fantasy like worlds their imaginations create. I love adventure and discovery, emotion, the feeling of nostalgia... I love the real wild raw stuff that happens in day to day life - nothing is mundane if you see the light and details differently, there is beauty everywhere and I get excited to capture what I see and share it with you!  There really is a passion behind what I do, it is not just a job and you will get more out of the experience than just your average family portraits session.

I want to tell your story.  I want you to have your memories preserved and on display for you to really see, not just somewhere fuzzy in the back of your mind.  I enjoy seeking out and finding gorgeous natural light sources to utilize and take a candid unposed approach so the end result will be something real.  It will be personal, emotional, colourful and beautiful!

Let's start planning how to tell your story!!

I am a graduate of the Applied Photography program at Sheridan Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning in Oakville, Ontario, Canada (2012).
